Our HR team focuses on the professional development of our employees and is closely involved in the recruitment and selection of new colleagues. They are also responsible for implementing the HR agenda. They set up and implement new HR projects and manage salary payments and absence administration, among many other things.

Your job as an HR professional

What does your day look like working in HR?

As an HR employee, you have a varied agenda. You advise colleagues at all levels on training and development, on their next career step, or on staying fit and healthy at work. This means that one moment you will be sitting around the table with a manager to discuss his or her next career step. Next, you have an appointment with a logistics employee from the warehouse about whether he or she is open to job rotation. Or you might be discussing with a colleague how he or she can get back on track after being absent. You can quickly and effectively switch between our various employee groups.

Together with your HR colleagues, you constantly think about new ways to attract talent and improve our recruitment and selection processes. You will also answer HR-related questions from team managers who regularly come to you asking for advice.

In 2022, you will also be working on the rollout of a new leadership program, a new state-of-the-art e-learning platform, and a new trainee program to attract and develop new young talent within our company worldwide. You will also work together on the design and implementation of new development paths for each individual employee. Each year we discuss the progress made with colleagues, thus working towards a permanent learning culture.
