The Sales Co-Ordinator - Energy role is responsible for managing the ordering activity for the organisation, including timely and accurate entry and processing of all orders received.

Main activities/Responsibilities:

  • Processing all orders and requirements

  • Expediting orders throughout the business - prioritising where necessary to ensure delivery schedules are met.

  • Execution of daily reports

  • Support the sales organisation with specific focus on specialised order handling.

  • Liaise with the commercial team to understand and action client requirements and commitments.

  • Liaise with the operations team to ensure order details and client expectations are aligned.

  • Provide ‘post order’ support with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.

  • Responsible for internal and client post order paperwork and documentation.

  • Project Management of large scale projects

  • Promote good cooperation between the departments to create greater customer value and profitability.

  • Undertake initiatives to encourage continual improvement in processes and development of tasks.

  • Supporting Commercial Team as required.

  • Filing and general administration.

  • Monitoring procurement of good

Required:

  • Previous experience in a commercial environment

  • Good level of competency in all MS Office applications.

  • GCSEs Grades A-C

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems

  • Experience of working in the steel stockholding industry
