Supply Chain Process Manager

To manage local site operational and logistics teams to maximise effectiveness and efficiencies. To work in collaboration with the UK SCH Manager and wider SCH team, ensuring processes are aligned, followed, and improved where required.

Leadership tasks

• Promote Health and Safety in the workplace
• Engaging with colleagues and team members in the pursuit of developing improvement initiatives.
• Identify skills gaps, training requirements (including onboarding for new employees) and implement accordingly.
• Coach and Develop team members and drive employee engagement and workplace culture.
• Create an open-door work environment where everyone has a voice to enable a continuous improvement ethos where the cultivation of ideas is for free.
• Be present and accessible to support all site team members.
• Manage performance effectively and in adherence with internal HR procedures including Appraisals, Learning & Development, Attendance, disciplinary and grievances (direct reports or escalated situations).
• Act as a Change champion- lead by example and promote change initiatives positively and effectively Tasks
• To be responsible for the overseeing of Operations/Logistics system processes, day to day activities and completion of tasks within the local site.
• SME for all system and process related topics at local site.
• Be a key user and support other key users in process and systems.
• Work in collaboration with UK Supply Chain Manager to optimize/align system and process in your local site.

Job Description

• Maintain and report on data in accordance with KPI’s, perform analysis and identify Continuous Improvement strategies/implement initiatives.
• Report to Ops Manager weekly on live KPI’s/business updates/targets achieved/missed/action
• Work in collaboration with the Ops Manager to ensure daily/weekly comms with the team on objectives and highlight hot topics and priorities to the wider ops site team
• Support, in collaboration with UK SCH Manager, on system upgrades for local site, including process mapping, training etc.
• Support the analysis of local OTD data in accordance with periodic review schedules.
• Participate in UK Supply chain management meetings
• Collaborate, Influence and implement UK Supply chain management tactics and strategies for local site.
• First point of contact for escalated local site supply chain issues and troubleshooting (In conjunction with the key users)
• Provide timely responses and solutions to internal and external stakeholders on supply chain matters.
• Monitor and manage plant stock, including inventory records, data entry, stock investigations, and adjustments in SAP; inform the team of significant discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the QHSE Team on returned items and support testing companies during plant visits.

• Relevant Degree or equivalent time served
• 6 Sigma experience – Desirable
• Good level SAP (or similar ERP) system knowledge and implementation experience- Essential
• Experience working at a leadership/management level within Supply Chain
• Good organisation and forward planning
• Experience of root cause analysis and problem solving
